Supporting employees returning to work after a loss.

Hi, I’m Lisa Kelly, your Grief-to-Work Coach and I help grieving employees return to work and achieve their top performance.

WAKE UP YOUR FOCUS AND ENERGY.

LEVEL UP YOUR JOB PERFORMANCE WHILE GRIEVING.

SHOW UP WITHOUT CALLING IN SICK.

You know it. Your coworkers see it. Your boss is onto it. Your loss is negatively affecting your job performance.

You are not able to maintain productivity and accuracy throughout your workday. You catch yourself ruminating, triggered, becoming tearful, making errors and not keeping up with your workload.

You are experiencing an increased lack of energy and focus at work, due to lack of sleep and self-care.

You are calling in sick hoping you will feel better the next day, only to realize you are not only exhausted and overwhelmed, but you are even more behind in your work.

BUT… I have your back and I want you to not only succeed, but to exceed.

The truth is, you can become Boss of Your Loss.

It is possible to successfully manage your workday even better than before your loss.

It is possible to have more energy, focus and overall well-being than before your loss.

It is possible to have excellent work attendance during your grieving process.

You know, I really understand that the expectation is to leave your personal life at home, but in reality, grief follows us to our workplaces.

The fact is, grief and loss come in various forms and work does not wait for us to recover.

I understand it because I was in your shoes.

I really struggled with processing various losses at work, like maternity and bereavement, to name a few. I learned that the grieving process is not governed by a time clock, and if I didn’t implement coping mechanisms, I would not be able to meet the demands of my workload.

I really needed the right support and system specific to my particular needs. Unaware that there were actually “coaches” who could give me direction and accountability related to workplace grief, I had to learn on my own.

I filled my library with self-help books and listened to audiobooks and videos on work productivity, neuroplasticity, health and wellness and was successful in commanding my workday despite my personal challenges. I would talk to coworkers about their struggles and I realized I had plenty of tools to create different programs specific to their needs. I received my certification in life and health coaching to equip me to create a holistic approach to processing grief in the workplace. I call this approach the P.E.A.R.L.S Method…and IT works so YOU can work.
